The Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS) is a non-profit, international consortium concerned with the development, convergence, and adoption of e-business standards. One of these is the OpenDocument Format for text documents (.odt), spreadsheets (.ods), presentations (.odp), graphics (.odg) and databases (.odb). |

Once you've told the database wizard in your OpenOffice how to connect to your MySQL database, you can produce realtime reports in office formats too. Placing this type of data exchange in the hands of the average office user is good news for the (open standard) information age. |

Google introduced some opt-in features which allows you to customize your Google (home, start) search page. Marketeers say the Web Portal Market[tm] might be in for a major shift!!! WTH'5 G01NG 0N?!?1shift!?!one!1?!??! As usual, this development meets both positive and negative press, and help is here. |
